sepeda hybridBike for recreation or bike to work, recently became a part of the city lifestyle who want to live healthy. However, there are several factors that need to be considered to achieve these objectives, including the age of the rider. It is associated with heart rate.

According to Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Grotz, the chief doctor for Internal Medicine Clinic II of Alfreid Krupp Hospital, Essen, for persons aged 50 years, then during exercise, maximum heart rate should not exceed 130 pulses per minute. In principle, the maximum heart rate of person during exercise should ideally 180 pulses per minute, minus the person’s age  (‘180 minus age equals training pulse’ ).

The most important thing in endurance sports is cleverly maintaining the heart rate at the level ideally, in this case 180 pulses per minute, minus the age of the person itself. The problem is, when someone takes a recreation or goes to the office by bike, especially if together with others, the ideally maximum heart rate often be exceeded. And if that happens, it’s not healthy to be achieved but it is a problem.

However, then we must consider the types of bicycles which is used. Recently, Porsche makes a hybrid mountain bike that will ensure that people with all ages can be healthy in cycling.

First, a hybrid bike from Porsche is very lightweight. With the frame made from carbon, the weight of this mountain bike is not more than 16 kilograms. Second, as for the hybrid technology, there’s an electric hub with direct drive in the rear wheel that can provide up to 450W, which can ease the burden of strokes on the pedals. The electric hub directly to work, if the sensor device detects that the person pedaling a bicycle, require extra energy while speeding at uphill road, the electric hub immediately to help turn the rear wheels. Thus, people who are peddling the cycle can conquer uphill road with relax and fun.

Electric hub is getting electrical power from the lithium battery rechargeable. The battery that look like a drinking bottle was attached to a bicycle frame and will be recharged when the bike speeding a down road.  If the battery is full, the cruising distance of the Porsche’s hybrid mountain bikes are more than 50 kilometers.
