witter, with its increased popularity have obviously been at the dark sight of crackers. They try phishing to manipulate your account and also hijack your twitter profile to irritate your followers too. That may seriously harm your reputation and credentials though you were never aware of such issues yourselves. The scammers put up websites that look exactly like Twitter. These websites prompt you to login with your Twitter username and password and then use your Twitter account to spam your followers. They send direct messages and @replies under your account with their phishing url. Your followers may then click on the link, give their credentials and have the exact same thing happen. And this cycle will grow bigger each day. So what can you do to prevent them?

1. Don't Trust any other Domain but Twitter

Whoever gives you a link or from whatever sources, do not log in with your twitter account anywhere excepting http://twitter.com. Check your browsers address bar before logging in and make sure its correct. look at this site for a change which has been a culprit in the recent past.

2. Do not Share Your Account Information with Anybody

Be very careful what outside Twitter applications you give your password to. If an outside application asks for your password, read their terms and do a little research on who is behind the application. If wary at all don’t give your password. There may be twitter tools which can harm you that way. Any third party twitter tool should not be trusted.

3. Do not Trust any Mail that Claims to Have Come from Twitter

If you receive an email notice saying you’ve received a Direct Message with a link that redirects to what seems like Twitter.com, be careful about entering your Twitter credentials. Instead, look closely at the URL to see if it’s not really Twitter but a sketchy phishing site. If you are not sure, then don't click on it.

These are the three main tips I have for now to share with you. If you have more suggestion, please write to us and we will publish it for the benefit of others (with your name as the contributor).

Surveillance security usually use technology to help the big boss to evaluate, to spy and also watch what are happening with his business and the security of the products from theft and unwanted crime. However, sometimes people also have problem when buying the Surveillance security as the assistant to watch their business. And the best thing to do is to compare available brands each other.

Surveillance Security PictureBefore doing comparison of the Surveillance security, you should consider what exactly you want to observe with the spy camera surveillance security. Once you have decided what your final target is, buying surveillance security system components will be easier then. Therefore, I will ask you some question and you must answer with the correct one,

Question number one. What is your plan? Are you going to use the spy camera to monitor your surveillance security all the times? And will you review the tapes when you find problem? Or are you going to hire some worker to observe the trouble? Therefore, you should consider buying multiple surveillance security system cameras so that you have more than one alternative to connect each to its monitor, or you can also combine multiple pictures into one screen/monitor.

What is your priority of using the surveillance security system?
What is your objection of buying surveillance security system camera? If you have a plan to catch crimes, you should use the small hidden surveillance security system cameras, but if you want to deter some activities, you can choose the large and visible cameras. And this day, there is newest type of the surveillance security system, which is based on digital video recording technology or DVR. This technology offers us to record all pictures and save them on the hard drive instead the tape, I think it has better advantage.

But, if you do not want to use DVR, you can use other surveillance security camera; the VCR surveillance security system camera that capable to record for long period of time, this system will only record one shot every eight second. But you need to replace the tape every day to get better recording image. This surveillance security system camera requires low budget, you need only to pay this technology for about $300 to $3500.

Buying surveillance security system camera actually is not a difficult thing to do if you know the information. This technology was born to ease our life, so you should not make this entire thing as a difficult problem.

Some robbers entered my house and stole several valuable items, such as cars, jewelry and some office’s equipment. I am still grateful because they do not hurt my family but I was made difficult because many important office’s data also disappeared. Since that time, I complete the house with ADT Alarm System.

At that time, my friends and the security give me recommend to install a kind of home security system. Level of crime from year to year can not be fully removed as the impact of the economic growth that brought a various social aspect in community. Therefore, we need to increase self-awareness on outside and inside the house. I my self know about ADT from some friends and the local security. ADT Home Security is a security system that is famous in the United States. Many people choose ADT because its price is cheap and works efficiently. ADT alarm system is wireless and easy to use. The price starts from $ 35.99, so many homes and offices that use this service.

My family and I feel more comfortable life since installing ADT Alarm System because ADT monitors our home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from home security professionals at five interconnected command Centers. When ADT receives a home security alarm monitoring, technicians can quickly alert local authorities so they can respond to any emergency at your home. You also have to know that ADT does not only provide a home security system from the burglary but also provides a system to keep the house from the danger of fire by smoke or fire detection, detection of Carbon Monoxide and another home emergency monitoring. As we know that carbon monoxide is one of gas that is not smelly and caused death if we breathe it in certain level.

Therefore, the role of a home security system like ADT provided is very important. Indirectly, we help the police or local security from crime and also prevent the bad home incident like fire and gas poisoning. Thus, don’t let a bad incident happen in your house, complete your house with ADT home security in order to get more comfortable life.

Who Watching You

Typically, spyware originates in three ways. The first and most common way is when the user installs it. In this scenario, spyware is embedded, attached, or bundled with a freeware or shareware program without the user's knowledge. The user downloads the program to their computer. Once downloaded, the spyware program goes to work collecting data for the spyware author's personal use or to sell to a third-party. Beware of many P2P file-sharing programs. They are notorious for downloads that posses spyware programs.

The user of a downloadable program should pay extra attention to the accompanying licensing agreement. Often the software publisher will warn the user that a spyware program will be installed along with the requested program. Unfortunately, we do not always take the time to read the fine print.  Some agreements may provide special "opt-out" boxes that the user can click to stop the spyware from being included in the download. Be sure to review the document before signing off on the download.

Another way that spyware can access your computer is by tricking you into manipulating the security features designed to prevent any unwanted installations. The Internet Explorer Web browser was designed not to allow websites to start any unwanted downloads. That is why the user has to initiate a download by clicking on a link. These links can prove deceptive. For example, a pop-up modeled after a standard Windows dialog box, may appear on your screen. The message may ask you if you would like to optimize your internet access. It provides yes or no answer buttons, but, no matter which button you push, a download containing the spyware program will commence. Newer versions of Internet Explorer are now making this spyware pathway a little more difficult.

Finally, some spyware applications infect a system by attacking security holes in the Web browser or other software. When the user navigates a webpage controlled by a spyware author, the page contains code designed to attack the browser, and force the installation of the spyware program.

What can spyware programs do?

Monitor your keystrokes for reporting purposes.

Scan files located on your hard drive.

Snoop through applications on our desktop.

Install other spyware programs into your computer.

Read your cookies.

Steal credit card numbers, passwords, and other personal information.

Change the default settings on your home page web browser.

Mutate into a second generation of spyware thus making it more difficult to       eradicate.

Cause your computer to run slower.

Deliver annoying pop up advertisements.

Add advertising links to web pages for which the author does not get ...

The Conficker worm continues to slither its way across the Internet, and a major update for the malware is looming on April 1. Just what will happen is everyone's guess, security researchers say, but there are malware removal tools and protections out there to secure users.

Much has been written about the Conficker worm’s next big day. On April 1, the worm is expected to evolve yet again, when it blasts out requests to 500 of the 50,000 domains it generates daily in search of an update.

Just what that update will do isn’t known; what is known is that Conficker – also known as Downadup - has proven to be an impressive piece of malware as far as such things go. Version C, the latest iteration of the worm, added peer-to-peer communication between infected systems and a new domain generation algorithm.

The worm also got a new set of armor to protect itself that enabled it to kill some DNS lookups and disable AutoUpdate and some antivirus software. Fortunately, there are ways for anyone who gets infected to manually remove the latest version, and there are also removal tools available from Symantec and others to help users clean their systems.

Still, this is a long way from the worm that first slithered out into the open last year targeting a flaw in Microsoft’s Windows Server service.

“From a high level perspective, the ‘A’ variant gave the impression to be a ‘test run,’” said Pierre-Marc Bureau, a researcher at ESET. “It had code that probably was not meant to be spread globally. For example, it was checking for the presence of an Ukrainian keyboard or Ukrainian IP before infecting a system.”

The first variants of the threat also sought to download and execute a file called "loadav.exe", leading researchers to think the first goal was to install rogue antivirus, Bureau added. The file however was never uploaded to a Web server and thus never downloaded by Conficker.

The second version of the worm spread not only through the Windows flaw but also through network shares by logging into machines that use weak passwords. It also scanned for targets with greater speed than the previous version, and additionally spread through removable media such as USB sticks.

Security vendors responded by updating their defenses, and the mind or minds behind the worm have continued to answer in kind.

“During the last week, 3.88 percent of our users have been attacked by Conficker, either because they accessed an infected device or by a network attack,” Bureau said. “The percentage is very high and shows that a high number of computers are presently infected and that the worm is still spreading.”

All together, the variants of the worm are believed to have infected millions of PCs. The situation has prompted several organizations, including Microsoft and AOL, to team up to ...

"I’ve been invaded by a virus!” Getting a virus means getting sick and no one in their right mind wants to be ill. Well, now that computers have become our close friends, it’s a shock to learn that foreign bodies too can invade them with malicious intent. No, your computer doesn’t get a runny nose or diarrhea. This is a sickness that stops your friend from functioning properly, sick in bed, incapacitated.

Well in Nature viruses occur from a power outside of our control. But, with computers it’s different, humans, mean or ignorant humans are creating these viruses. Why? Usually these are disgruntled people who want to wreak some havoc on others or companies that they feel have done wrong to them. In any case we have to be in the know and prepared to deal with these debilitating scourges.

There are many ways to approach the protection of your computer. First of all there’s the step of awareness. Be aware of how viruses are transmitted. You can catch them from a disc but in most cases it is through your email system. Check your email carefully. Be very wary of anything that has an attachment. Check whom it’s from and look at the title of the mail, is it something you were expecting? Even if it’s from someone you know, be careful as their computer could be infected and the virus being transmitted without their knowledge.

Next, read the cover message, you can’t catch the disease without actually opening the message. Look at the name of the attachment; remember viruses are written to entice you. Beware of free offers and generally anything from people you don’t know, as well as messages that sound irrelevant to your contact’s usual style. Delete them straight away. Delete, delete, delete. This will ensure you of a lower risk of infection. You can even send the message back to the sender without opening it to make sure it is valid.

Now for the heavy protection: Virus scanning and virus protection software, and rescue discs are all readily available and easily utilized. Some are free, and others are obtained for a very small charge. Most software manufacturers offer subscriptions for updating services, which automatically download protection to the latest viruses.

There are two main types of virus scanning software: one searches through your entire computer files looking for recognizable viral signatures, the other scans your incoming and outgoing emails. Alerts will show you when a file needs to be erased or repaired. If you do receive a virus that none of the software can repair you can send a copy of it to a company like Symantec who will be happy to develop a cure for it.

The main message here is not to get too worried about your good friend Mrs. PC getting ill or sick. The humans are on top of the case and they ...

Once a month or so we delete the rites and resolute to do so yesterday. think our alarm when we logged into our E-gold account yesterday and found our stability to be a big fat nothing! We had trial the stability just a few living ago so we knew this was not mark. After investigating the story of the account, we found that a squander had been made to another e-gold account client lacking our education or authorization. We had been hacked!

while we have up to year unwilling-virus and firewall software on our laptop, we unspoken we were innocent. Not so! It seems this is not enough to keep away the hackers as the software does not inhibit “Spyware” from being positioned on your laptop.

“Spyware” is software that gets against your laptop and plainly “spies” on your activities. The spying can sort from relatively innocent use of cookies tracking you across manifold websites… to really unsafe “keystroke loggers” which release passwords, accept cards, and other special records. That records then gets relayed to the role who put the software on your laptop.

Spyware gets on your laptop in one of some different conduct.

First, it rides along with software you download from the ‘Net and position on your method.

following, they come as forward attachments (greatly like viruses) and automatically position themselves on your laptop when you open the forward idea.

Third, hackers find an open haven on your laptop and use the “back door” to position mostly something they want.

And fourth, the more malicious types, like keystroke loggers, can even get positioned by superstar with address material access to your laptop such as an employer, suspicious wife, affair competitor, or superstar who wishes to know just what you’re burden.
